About Chris Lovett

Chris Lovett, CEO

Chris Lovett is the CEO of Lovett Sales Inc. Over his career, Mr. Lovett has trained over 60,000 Bankers and other Sales Representatives in over 2,400 seminars across the U.S. and internationally.

Mr. Lovett uses his extensive experience in both sales and sales management when training clients. He brings real-world experiences as a successful salesperson, trainer, and sales manager into his training programs. He easily relates his background to the challenges faced by sales representatives who take a proactive approach to business development and client retention.

He has conducted workshops for financial institutions and other sales organizations throughout the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico.

Mr. Lovett has developed a reputation for his result oriented training programs. He has authored internal sales training materials, created and produced various training DVDs, CDs, and more. His students have increased their confidence and effectiveness in getting more appointments, and having more sales success.

He is also the author of the book, Sales People “Think They” Know Everything.

When Experience Matters

Sales People “think they” Know Everything

Prior to establishing Lovett Sales Inc., Mr. Lovett began his sales career in Orlando, Florida with TeleCheck services and then First Data in 1993. After a successful time in sales, the company promoted him to Sales Manager over North Florida.

Recognizing his ability to train and retain staff, Mr. Lovett was promoted to the corporate headquarters in Houston, Texas. There, he assumed the position of Corporate Trainer. In this position, he trained thousands of Sales Representatives throughout the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico.

Then, Mr. Lovett received a promotion to Manager of National Sales Training, where he built a team of regional Sales Trainers. He also authored a significant portion of the internal sales training materials, creating and producing various training DVDs, CDs, and more.

He was promoted to the District Manager over North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Under his management, his district was the top revenue producing and achieved the highest profit percentage increase nationally 3 years in a row.

In 2002, Mr. Lovett joined Gehegan & Associates, a sales training firm in San Diego, California. He has directed and produced promotional and training DVDs as well as and multiple modules of eLearning curriculum for Gehegan & Associates.

In 2024, Mr. Lovett created his own consulting firm, Lovett Sales Inc.
